The News Media

When Mitt Romney was running for President he called a press conference to discuss a statement he had made on Benghazi. As the reporters were waiting for Romney they had not realized that there was a microphone open. What that microphone did was capture the reporters discussing coordinating questions for Romney; one reporter saying “no matter who he calls on we’re covered on the one question”. This is a sample of collusion if I ever saw one. Reporters sitting from different companies conspiring to ask Romney the same question, to make sure he answers the question. This is where we have come to. I am one to always protect the first amendment to the Constitution, but who is going to protect candidates running for office from a gang up, and the other candidate being protected from such scrutiny. Is that kind of scrutiny protected in the Constitution? maybe so, I am not a lawyer, but it might not be protected in a court of law if pursued. Remember that word I used in the beginning, “collusion”.

Lets go to basics and relate it to todays reporting. News reporters basic rules of reporting; I even learned this in grade school. They are called the five W’s.

Lets go back to the example I started with on Romney’s news conference. The five W’s were already answered before it started. It’s about Benghazi, in this instance it’s about the statement Romney made. It took place a few day’s before. It took place by Romney making a statement to reporters. Romney made the statement because he felt the President was not being clear to the American people about what happened in Benghazi, and to this day Obama is still lying. So all the W’s were already answered and there is no doubt that these reporters did not like the idea that Romney was questioning Obama and they wanted to embarrass him.

This is the same press that has protected Obama from the beginning. In my life time the news media has always given more coverage to the Democrats, which was always good coverage, but they reported the news. They would not take the Democratic candidate to the woodshed but at least they did report the news for each candidate, maybe not as wholeheartedly for the Republican, but they did report it. The following is from the book” Alexander Hamilton” by Ron Chernow. “Only a free press could check abuses of executive power, Hamilton asserted.Hamilton added that “men the most zealous reverers of the people’s rights have, when placed on the highest seat of power, become their most deadly oppressors. It becomes therefore necessary to observe the actual conduct of those who are thus raised up”. pg669 As you can see Hamilton is talking about if the person is already President. In Obama’s case his whole persona was covered up as a candidate and the other candidate’s persona was blown up like a balloon. Is this right for the public to know about one candidate, but Obama’s affiliations with Communists, Marxist( and he is one) a Rev.Wright and a terrorist through the years were not reported by the major news media; totally ignored to make sure he wins the Presidency? This is still going on as Obama is President by the news media hiding the truths about Benghazi, Fast and Furious, hiding his school records so the American people can possibly find out that he came to this country as a foreign exchange student, his birth certificate has been possibly proven a forgery. The news media is staying away from these like the plague and only the investigative reporters are looking into it. Fox News that the liberals hate, don’t even have the guts to pursue this.

There are some serious issues here in regard to news reporting. If a reporter has information on a candidate do they not have the obligation to report it to the public? because it is that reporters job classification to report all the news they know about a candidate, especially if they are reporting all the news of the candidate that they do not favor. The US Constitution protects us with freedom of speech, but it does not protect a reporter from holding back information about one candidate, but reporting everything they know about the other. If this continues America will continue to move towards a Marxist society, because most of the main stream press falls into that category.

The Sequester

Obama stressed the fact that Republicans would be at fault if the spending reductions take effect and cost jobs of emergency personal, even though it was Obama who agreed to the sequester idea. Obama purposely made them so painful that everyone would be forced to agree on a broader framework to tame federal borrowing. What Obama has been actually doing is calling the Republicans bluff, but that hasn’t worked. So if the sequester goes into effect in March it will dramatically trim spending on a wide range of domestic programs, including education as well as research and development, and it would also sharply reduce spending at the Pentagon.

It has been estimated that sequestration would cost 700,000 jobs and push the unemployment rate a quarter of a percentage point higher.

Obama has an opportunity to be a great President, instead he chooses the path of ideology. He chooses like I have written many times the class warfare of Marxism. His stooge, Harry Reid, the leader of the Senate has not produced a budget bill now for over three years, whereas the Republican controlled House of Representatives have sent bills to the Senate that Senator Reid will not bring up for a vote, per the instructions of King Obama. Obama even terminated his jobs council. Where do these Democrats get the audacity to hold up all the business of the United States over the games of politics that they are playing. This is all about the blame game of Republicans being at fault for unpopular cuts that will go into effect from sequester. Obama is more interested in the blame game than sitting down and negotiating with the Congress. This is what we have now as President of the United States, a hooligan from Chicago.

My Answer To Obama’s State Of The Union Address

President Obama has declared that the state of the union is sound. I just don’t know what country he was talking about. The unemployment rate is still somewhere around 8%. He has increased taxes on the rich, or however which way he defines the word rich, and now he has proposed closing loopholes on the rich which is really another tax increase. He is suppressing the ability of the small business person to be able to hire. The small business person cannot afford more taxes and more regulations. This is socialism at its worst. The people that are out of jobs will continue to be out of jobs because the small business person will not hire as long as these conditions persist. Obama says to put responsibility ahead of party, yet he is the one that is strangling the economy. Under Obama Care the average care premiums has risen 24%. Employers will pay the fine of not giving their employees insurance rather than paying for insurance premiums they cannot afford. They will also lay off to make sure they keep their employees under the count of 50 people, which again means they will not hire to make sure it doesn’t reach 50. On top of this he wants to raise the minimum wage to $9.00 an hour. You don’t do these things when the economy is in a free fall. Obama is out to hurt this country, you people who don’t believe this will witness an economic crash so big before you believe it, and then we will have to start over again, won’t we?

Obama is in deep in this clean energy. Let me tell you something. China and India are now getting into their industrial revolution. Do you really think they are going to worry about clean energy? They are going to use their oil at it’s fullest. Sure they might talk the talk for political correctness, but they won’t walk the walk. So you have two of the most populated countries in the world who will use their oil, and you have the US holding back mass production and not being able to hire because regulations on clean energy are just to expansive to handle.

Lets talk about wind energy. Many believe that wind energy is less expensive than other types of power generation. However, in the United States the cost per kilowatt hour is similar to coal and natural gas.

Wind turbines do not pollute the environment, but they are manufactured with steel, concrete and aluminum, which are created using fossil fuels that also help run the manufacturing plants.

It is difficult to calculate the actual output a wind turbine or wind farm will generate. That’s because wind speed and the occurrence of wind is not consistent.

SOLAR- One of the major disadvantages of solar energy occurs during the conversion to the technology. The initial investment in solar energy equipment can carry a hefty price tag.

New solar power installations take up quite a bit of space. Those living in an urban environment or an apartment building, finding the space to install a solar-energy system, which includes not only solar panels, but large batteries as well, will be a problem.

Solar energy systems face problems in places where it rains often or there is heavy pollution. One reason for this is that, under these conditions, the solar cells are less likely to receive direct sunlight.

ELECTRIC CARS- People just don’t want them. GM has now all but admitted that the Chevy Volt- the car on which the company says it pinned all its hopes and dreams is dead.
(Reuters)- Are electric cars running out of juice again?

Recent moves by Japan’s two largest automakers suggest that the electric car, after more than 100 years of development and several brief revivals, still is not ready for prime time- and may never be.

We have in our country a God given resource, which is oil. An abundance of oil. Obama did not mention the fact that offshore leases for oil drilling have declined 61% under his administration. Obama did not mention that if the keystone Pipeline was allowed to be built, it would create tens of thousands of jobs.

A State of a Union should be just what it means, the State of the Union. Not to put different classes of Americans against another. The rich versus the poor, the employer versus the employee, gun control versus the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. Trying to justify not using our number one resource, oil, the resource that has made America the leader of the world. I have said many times and I will say many more times that Obama is out to hurt our country. You cannot convince me that a person as educated as he is does not know any better. My biggest wish is for the American people to realize this before I can say I told you so. The next time when it can be shown is the Congressional election of 2014. Wherever you smell a Marxist you vote that person out.

What Happens When The Government Takes Over Industry

So many times during the Presidential election President Obama bragged that he saved the car industry. Naturally he doesn’t talk about over 100,000 jobs that were lost due to closing down many car dealerships, then we found out that management people lost their pensions, but union people kept theirs.

Our country today is on the verge of being destroyed. How is this happening? To put the pieces together I have taken some passages from Mark Levin’s book “Liberty and Tyranny”. These are real facts that I will use to piece together the conclusion.

To put it succinctly: Conservatism is a way of understanding life, society, and governance. The Founders believed, and the Conservative agrees, in the dignity of the individual; that we, as human beings, have a right to live, live freely, and pursue that which motivates us not because man or some government says so, but because these are God-given natural rights. pg 3.

The Modern Liberal believes in the supremacy of the state, thereby rejecting the principles of the Declaration and the order of the civil society, in whole or part. As the word “liberal”is, in its classical meaning, the opposite of authoritarian, it is more accurate, therefore, to characterize the Modern Liberal as a Statist. pg. 4.

But in the 1930s, during the Great Depression, the Statists successfully launched a counterrevolution that radically and fundamentally altered the nature of American society.pg6. It was not long before the Court became little more than a rubber stamp for Roosevelt’s policies. The Democratic Party and the federal government would become inextricably intertwined, and the Democratic Party would become as dependent on federal power for its sustenance as the governmental dependents it would create.pg7.

Conservatism is the antidote to tyranny precisely because its principles are the founding principles.pg11.

The Statist rejects the Founders’ idea of the dignity of the individual.pg15.

This is the hope the Statist offers, if only the individual surrenders himself to the all-powerful state.pg17.

The classroom is turned into a propaganda mill, rather than a place of education.pg19.

There are now rumblings about regulating the Internet, which occurs in places like China.pg21.

No matter how robust the economy, they claim the imminent threat of a recession or depression.pg22.

Liberty and religious liberty are inseparable, the same national consensus that motivated the Declaration’s signers.pg29.

Rights do not belong to all individuals. They are to be rationed by the state-conferred on those whom the Statist believes deserving of them, and denied to those whom the Statist believes under serving of them.pg29

For the Statist, revolution is an ongoing enterprise, for it regularly cleanses society of religious dogma, antiquated traditions, backward customs, and ambitious individuals who differ with or obstruct the Statist’s plans.pg30.

For the Conservative, and the Founders, faith is not a threat to civil society but rather vital to its survival.

Consequently, for the Statist, federalism, like free markets and private property, remained a major obstacle to amassing power. Therefore, he would have to subvert the Constitution to achieve his ends- which he did.pg53.

The key to understanding the free market is private property. The Conservative believes that the federal government should raise revenue only to fund those activities that the Constitution authorizes and no others. Otherwise, what are the limits on the Statist’s power to tax and regulate the individuals labor and, ultimately, enslave him?pg62.

The Marxist class-struggle formulation, which pits the proletariat{“working class”} against the bourgeoisie {“wealthy merchant class”}, still serves as the principle theoretical and rhetorical justification for the Statist’s assault on the free market.pg63.

Lets proceed to today’s situation with GM and Chrysler that was bailed out by the government. GM and Chrysler should have been allowed to go bankrupt. President Obama declared that the car industry will not be allowed to go bankrupt. So what does the government do, they pump them with billion’s of dollars. Eventually they had to go through what is called a managed bankruptcy in which the American taxpayer is now out $45 billion dollars for not allowing this to happen in the first place. What this is all about is the government being in control of another industry. It was said many years ago that socialism would not happen over night, but someday some generation would wake up with a socialistic United States of America.

Don’t you see what is happening here? GM and Chrysler, even if they paid off their debt, which the tax payer will never get all of its money back, will always answer to the government, unless we stop voting in these socialists. Obama and company will dictate what kind of car’s to produce, and set the emissions standards. This global warming is over done, and the socialist’s from Gore on down, are using it for control, but this will be another subject.

I am certain of one main fact. We have our Bill of Rights and our Constitution. Any President who willingly attempts to divert America from its Constitution should be Impeached.
