The Second Amendment, the right to bear arms has been with us for over 200 years and until maybe the last 60 years or so there was none of the type of mass shootings that we see today that seems to be more often than ever before. Something is missing from our society that is very obvious. The liberal (socialist) establishment have taken God out of almost every aspect of American society and they are continuing to do so or lets just say trying to at a rapid pace. Our Forefathers had never meant this to be and they would be shocked at the elimination of God which of course brings on the collapse of morality that we patriots see happening before our very eyes.

It’s obvious that America needs an awakening of spiritual necessity. We must not cave to the notion that we cant bring God back to our society. God is everywhere, He is just waiting for a mass volume of prayers and acceptance in our society and that will surely turn the morality to His blessings. The churches must get more involved in preaching what God expects and socialism must be thrown out of our school systems and bring back prayers.
This will be very hard work but if we are to survive as a nation we will not do so without God. Our Forefathers knew it of which I only gave two examples above, they were all God fearing patriots our Forefathers were and they would never have allowed what is going on in our society today and it’s up to We The People to fight for what they left us, a Republic for the love of God and only then will we see all this hate that is going on diminish. A week or so ago, we were having dinner with a liberal Democrat friend (yes I still think of her as a friend despite her politics). We were talking about the shootings in El Paso and Dayton. I stated that when we took God out of what seems to be everything, our society and morals went to hell, and you get these kind of events. She became unglued! Snapped back that religion has nothing to do with the direction society has taken. She did agree that broken homes, no discipline had more to do with it. I said, that there is a link between the home and religion, which often shows there is an absence of God in the home as well.
You were very correct in stating that there is a link between the home and religion and for the fact that your friend became unglued at the start of your conversation of God being taken out of our society just multiply that by millions and that is very disturbing.
